For our Big Data Lighthouse we are looking for a business developer who will identify and develop data & analytics use cases with the RWE Grid / Distribution and Innogy business units. Think of predictive maintenance, load forecasting, outages prediction or optimizing investments in infrastructure. Build up and expand your network within the RWE Grid & Distribution and Innogy business units on both management as well as in the field level by acting as a thought leader on data analytics Identify and actively develop data analytics use cases with a business impact supported by data scientists and other members of the team Take up an active rol in the implementation of the use cases, eg defining scope, needed team Safeguarding the reusability of the solution (can we scale it up easily?) Keep yourself up to date by building actively connections with the outside world, in order to identify new opportunities for RWE Set up / moderating / contributing to your part of the community within RWE Build up a portfolio of successful Proof of Concepts, a thought leader position for yourself and active communication in and outside RWE contributing to awareness and image of the Big Data Lighthouse (events, publications, and so on) Your profile: Understanding of data analytics challenges Understanding of grid and distribution domain Fluent in German and English Persistence, nose for opportunity 5+ years job experience but needs to produce output, not manager type Energy industry knowledge / experience is a plus International working experience Preferably existing RWE Grid and/or Innogy relationship network
